姑 = 古 + 女 : Gitta Giraffe (gu) and Bessie Coleman (女) have both decided to become nuns (姑). In front of the space station (Ø1) they are about to enter a secluded cloister (古).

啊 = 口 + 阿 : Auntie was supposed to meet Albert Einstein in front of the ashram, but Albert is nowhere to be seen. There is just a huge mandarin lying around. After auntie has waited for a long time, she finally decides to peel the mandarin. As she peels of the first piece, Albert Einstein jumps out of the mandarin, shouting "阿姨! Surprise!" Auntie in turn just screams "啊" in surprise as she swiftly suffers from a heart attack.

现 = 王 + 见 : Martin Luther King has a project in which he wants to document the current state of the nation. He has a surveillance camera put up in the anthill's bathroom and interviews Marie Curie about her views about the present time.

在 = 一 + 亻 + 土 : Zorro (z) and Rosa Luxemburg (亻) exist (在) in the airplane's bathroom (ai4). Rosa is in the middle of balancing a flute (一) on her head and on a pile of clay (土). Zorro uses his rapier to inscribe "Z" into the flute, so as to mark that the pronunciation of "在" begins with "z".

可 = 丁 + 口 : Karl Marx (k) is challenging his abilities (可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He tries to force a nail (丁) into a mandarin (口), just by using his head. On top of that he tries to do so one thousand times, in order to create a bed of nails (mnemonic symbol for 可).

可 = 丁 + 口 : Alternative mnemonic symbol: kebab, from the pronunciation "ke". Karl Marx (k) is preparing a kebab (mnemonic symbol for 可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He also skewers mandarins (口) on the long steel nails (丁) and will only allow (可) his guests to eat the rest of the kebab if they eat their mandarins first.

不 = 丆 + 卜 : Bruno Bear (bu) is setting up a wind wheel (丆) with a voodoo staff (卜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He also puts a "forbidden" sign (mnemonic symbol for 不) on it, to make clear that it may not (不) be stopped.

同 = 冂 + 𠮛 : Tommy Turtle (tu) is stapling (冂) a magical scroll (𠮛) to the wall of the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2). On it he wrote that he's looking for two twins (mnemonic symbol for 同).

从 = 人 : Mnemonic symbol: 从 looks like the legs of a rubber chicken. Two Neanderthal Men (人) are playing a game with Kitty Cat (cu) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2). They stand in a line and let Kitty Cat pass through (从) the tunnel formed by their legs by teasing her with a rubber chicken (从).

前 = 䒑 + 刖 : The Queen of Hearts is smoking some weed just inside the anthill's kitchen. She's so high that she thinks the lamp in front of her is the moon which wants to stab her with a kitchen knife.

了 = 乛 + 亅 : Sir Lancelot (l) has completed (了) his preparations to fight the world. There he stands ready, on top of the Elevator (e5), with a sickle (乛) and a crowbar (亅) in his hands.

Li Qingzhao (li) is responsible for manufacturing a prize cup (了). She only needs to add a poetic engraving. Unfortunately, she suffers from a writer's block. In the aorta's living room (ao3), someone left a cryptic message engraved on the walls using a sickle (乛), which is still lying on the floor. Being an accomplished poet Li Qingzhao is able to understand the message clearly (了), realizes its poetic potential and starts to engrave it on the prize cup using a crowbar (亅).
