Joan of Arc (ji) is on a quest in the anthill's bathroom (an4). She happened to find a map (冂) to a holy treasure. She doesn't know it's just a prank set up by Sun Wukong (儿) who's secretly recording her with a surveillance camera (见).

冂 = 丨 + ㇆ : Mnemonic symbol from the shape of the character: kind of looks like a map.

Zeus (ju) found a secret map (冂) that tells the location of a golden dinosaur bone (丨) in front of the engine ((e)ng1), so he took a plow (㇆) and dug up everything. He actually found a couple of dinosaur bones, but not a golden one.

儿 = 丿 + 乚 : Mnemonic symbol: "son" (儿) sounds similar to "Sun" like in "Sun Wu Kong", so it's gonna be represented by the monkey king. Albert Einstein (Ø-) and Sun Wu Kong (儿) are fighting in the space station's kitchen (-Ø2). Their weapons: Albert Einstein has a shovel (乚), and Sun Wu Kong has a banana (丿).

他 = 也 + 亻 : Tecumseh (t) was discovered when Rosa Luxemburg (亻) dug him (他) up with an excavator (也) in front of the ashram (a1).

亻 = 丿 + 丨 : Mnemonic symbol: Rosa Luxemburg. She's quite radical, and her name starts with "r", just like "ren2". Also, 亻appears at the left-hand side of characters, and Rosa is a leftist as well.

Robinson Crusoe (r) and Rosa Luxemburg (亻) are having their favorite snacks in the encampment's kitchen: Rosa is eating a banana (丿) and Robinson is eating a dinosaur bone (丨).

T is for Tecumseh, leader of the Shawnee.

毛 = 丿 + 二 + 乚 : Mahatma Gandhi finally found a way to get some hair again: Just inside the aorta's kitchen, he used a shovel to dig up several bananas. Using a charged capacitor, he fuses them to his head.

二 = 一 : Mnemonic symbol: a capacitor, because the two strokes remind me of the symbol in electrical drawings. Albert Einstein (Ø) is experimenting with a capacitor (二) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He finds that it's uncomfortable to discharge a capacitor using two flutes (一).

忘 = 亡 + 心 : Willy Walrus (w) will never forget (忘) his love who is buried in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4). There is not a single day when Willy forgets (忘) to bring his heart (心) and leave it right next to his love's tombstone (亡).

亡 = 乚 + 亠 : Willy Walrus (w) just finished digging a grave (亡) for his dead relatives who were killed in the Arctic in the anglepod's kitchen (ang2). Exhausted, he sticks the shovel (乚) in the earth and puts his beret (亠) on it. Finally, he sets up the tombstone (mnemonic symbol for 亡).

逸 = 辶 + 兔 : Maud Younger (y) is chasing a rabbit (兔) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). Her feet get all tangled up in her gladiator sandals (辶) though so the rabbit can escape (逸) very leisurely (逸) (with a very low escape velocity 逃逸速度).

Xi is for Xi Shi (西施), one of the renowned Four Beauties of ancient China.

孝 = ⺹ + 子 : Mnemonic symbol: a mourning veil.

Xi Shi (xi) was breeding an egg (子) in the aorta's bathroom (ao4), and she even put a crown (⺹) on it (the crown is on top of the egg: 孝), so much she loved her little prince. Unfortunately the egg died, and thus she put on her mourning veil (孝).

Mnemonic symbol: ⺌ looks a bit like an aloe vera plant.

休 = 亻 + 木 : Mnemonic symbol: a nice comfortable folding chair for resting.

Rosa Luxemburg (亻) took Xi Shi (xi) for a long trip to the outhouse, and now Xi Shi is tired. Luckily there's a nice and big Christmas tree (木) in front of the outhouse (ou1), so Rosa Luxemburg sets up Xi Shi's folding chair (休) in its shadow to let her rest (休).

席 = 广 + 廿 + 巾 : Xi Shi (xi) prepares to go back to earth and is ready to dash out of the space station's kitchen (Ø2) at any moment. She fixed a parachute (广) to a woven seating mat (席), effectively seating her in an ejection seat. As a helmet she wears a flower pot (廿) on her head, and for style she added a towel (巾) which she fixed to her shoulders to wear as super hero cape.

锡 = 易 + 钅 : Xi Shi (xi) wants to unpack her new puzzle (易) in front of the space station (Ø1). It should be very simple (易) to unpack because it is merely wrapped in tin foil (锡), but Xi Shi just can't manage to unpack the puzzle. In the end she has to use a golden harpoon (钅) to tear the tin foil apart.

溪 = 奚 + 氵 : Xi Shi (xi) finds out that what used to be a big river floating in front of the space station (Ø1) is now just a rivulet (溪). She instantly grabs as many bottles of water (氵) as she can to replenish the river and calls 911 for help, but first has to answer the "w"-questions what? / where? / why? (奚).

西 = 兀 + 囗 : Xi Shi (xi) has gone crazy from the loneliness in space. In front of the space station, she sits inside of a large wooden box, wearing a cowboy hat and playing a 胡兀尔 fiddle, thinking that she's participating in a square dance in the wild west.

晰 = 日 + 析 : Xi Shi (xi) wants to get a better understanding (晰) of the sun (日), so in front of the space station (Ø1) Xi Shi investigates the sun's solar storms using a mass spectrometer (析).

溪 = 奚 + 氵 : Xi Shi (xi) finds out that what used to be a big river floating in front of the space station (Ø1) is now just a rivulet (溪). She instantly grabs as many bottles of water (氵) as she can to replenish the river and calls 911 for help, but first has to answer the "w"-questions what? / where? / why? (奚).

惜 = 忄 + 昔 : NASA ordered Xi Shi (xi) to do an experiment for them in front of the space station (Ø1). They are spending 2000000000 bucks to see what happens when you crush a milk shake (昔) with a flail (忄) in outer space. Xi Shi thinks it is a pity (惜) and would rather drink her cherished (惜) milk shake rather than crush it.

悉 = 心 + 釆 : Xi Shi (xi) noticed that her heart (心) is not working very well in front of the space station (Ø1). It is probably just the lack of any atmosphere and freezing temperature; but in all cases (悉) she wants to know (悉) what is going on and takes a few samples with her sampling tool (釆).

希 = 乂 + 布 : Mnemonic symbol: John Hope (the educator). In front of the space station, John Hope blindfolded Xi Shi. He wants to teach her to follow him, gripping his pliers. Xi Shi hopes that he will lead her back to the space station as soon as possible.

醒 = 星 + 酉 : A rooster (酉) is waking up (醒) Xi Shi (xi) in the engine ((e)ng3) just as the sun rises. Xi Shi is very upset and throws a satellite (星) at the rooster to make him stop.

项 = 工 + 页 : Mnemonic symbol: a necklace (项). Xi Shi (xi) lost her necklace in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4) and tries to get it out of the toilet again. Xi Shi jotted down some calculations (项) on a sheet of paper (页) and uses a steel beam (工) as a lever to get his necklace out by putting the lever at the exact right position and the sheet of paper on top of the other side of the lever.

型 = 刑 + 土 : Xi Shi (xi) is carving a mould (型) out of a lump of earth (土) using a pocket knife (刑) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2). She wants to use it to model (型) the stones in the engine.

形 = 开 + 彡 : Xi Shi (xi) is modding her fake Santa Clause beard (彡) into a new shape (形). With a bottle opener (开) she carves the beard in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2) so that it gets a fractal (形) shape (形).

向 = 丿 + 冋 : In anglepod's bathroom, Xi Shi is being held up at the border control post because she tried to smuggle a sky fruit in a banana.

腥 = 星 + 月 : Xi Shi (xi) finds that the moon (月) crashed on the earth in front of the engine ((e)ng1). She investigates the case and concludes that the moon was hit and killed by a satellite (星) which is still stuck into its head. The moon is reeking with blood (腥) where the satellite hit it. Because it has been dead for a while it stinks quite fishy (腥).

猩 = 星 + 犭 : Xi Shi (xi) landed with her satellite (星) in front of the engine ((e)ng1). As she exits her satellite she meets a gorilla (猩) riding on a dachshund (犭) and exclaims: "They blew it up! God, damn you! Damn you all to hell!!!"

象 = ⺈ + 口 + 豕 : Xi Shi sees the crane and the swine fight about a single mandarin in the anglepod's bathroom. To smooth down the differences, with a locomotive she drives a whole container of mandarins in the bathroom.

详 = 羊 + 讠 : The sheep (羊) is reading the newest gossip written on an advertising column (讠) in the anglepod's kitchen (ang2). The gossip is about the private life of Xi Shi (xi), which it reports very detailed (详).

向 = 丿 + 冋 : In anglepod's bathroom, Xi Shi is being held up at the border control post because she tried to smuggle a sky fruit in a banana.

项 = 工 + 页 : Mnemonic symbol: a necklace (项). Xi Shi (xi) lost her necklace in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4) and tries to get it out of the toilet again. Xi Shi jotted down some calculations (项) on a sheet of paper (页) and uses a steel beam (工) as a lever to get her necklace out by putting the lever at the exact right position and the sheet of paper on top of the other side of the lever.

橡 = 木 + 象 : Xi Shi wants to plant some oaks (橡) in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4), so she had the KFNB Elephant (象) transport young oaks to the bathroom. In exchange she provides the train with a lot of Christmas trees (木) to be used as fuel for the steam engine.

享 = 亠 + 口 + 子 : Xi Shi enjoys a drink inside of Angkor War. The drink contains eggs and mandarins, and instead of a little umbrella it has a little beret.

巷 = 共 + 巳 : Xi Shi unsuspectingly turns into a small alley (巷) in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4) when she is surprised by a communist (共) sitting on a snake (巳).

响 = 口 + 向 : Inside of the anglepod (ang3), Xi Shi (xi) makes loud noises (响) clashing together a mandarin (口) and a sky fruit (向).

翔 = 羊 + 羽 : Xi Shi (xi) conducts an experiment in the anglepod's kitchen (ang2). She attached a lot of feathers (羽) to a sheep (羊), and indeed, as she throws the terrified sheep into the air, it starts to soar (翔) through the air like a bird.

祥 = 礻 + 羊 : When Xi Shi was still in school she once visited the anglepod. In the kitchen (ang2) she met with a sheep (羊) wearing a monk's cowl (礻) which promised her a very auspicious (祥) future.

襄 = 衣 + 口 + 井 + 一 : Xi Shi (xi) is cooperating with a lot of people (襄) in a communal effort (襄) to dig a well (井) in front of the anglepod (ang1). The summer is very hot, so everyone is wearing kilts (衣). They dig the well using flutes (一) and they hope that they will unearth lots of mandarins (口) to create a mandarin well.

乡 = 幺 + 丿 : Xi Shi's tractor got stuck in a pile of bananas in front of the anglepod, with the wheels spinning helplessly. Her last hope is that she'll be able to free the tractor by pushing aces under the wheels, so that she can bring the tractor back to her hometown.

厢 = 厂 + 相 : Xi Shi (xi) set up a theater box (厢) at the exterior wall of the anglepod (ang1) and installed her chocolate factory (厂) there. She throws down chocolate to the crowd and an ent (相) catches it all.

镶 = 襄 + 钅 : Xi Shi (xi) is getting help (襄) from her fellows inlaying (镶) a false tooth into her golden harpoon (钅) in front of the anglepod (ang1).

The summer is very hot, so everyone is wearing kilts (衣). They dig the well using flutes (一) and they hope that they will unearth lots of mandarins (口) to create a mandarin well.

衅 = 半 + 血 : Xi Shi (xi) and King Solomon (半) both need a blood transfusion (血) in the encampment's bathroom ((e)n4) badly and they have a big fight (衅) about it. Even King Solomon's suggestion to just cut the bag in half (半) doesn't calm down Xi Shi.

箱 = ⺮ + 相 : Mnemonic symbol: suitcase.

Xi Shi (xi) and an ent (相) are carrying a very heavy suitcase (箱) in front of the anglepod (ang1) by shouldering a bamboo stick (⺮) with which they lift the suitcase.

廂 = 广 + 相 : Xi Shi attached a theatre box to the outside of the anglepod. For the trill of it, she's going to sky-dive jumping off of it, and down below, an ent will catch her.

辛 = 十 + 立 : Xi Shi (xi) is preparing for the winter by making kimchi (辛) in front of the encampment ((e)n1). She is drying the vegetables by hanging them on crosses (十) and puts the finished kimchi into vases (立). She has been working very hard (辛) and in the end the filled eight (辛) vases with pungent hot (辛) kimchi.

信 = 亻 + 言 : Xi Shi and Rosa Luxemburg are reading a letter of Karl Marx to the public in the encampment's bathroom. To make the message really come across to the people they use a megaphone.

薪 = 艹 + 新 : Xi Shi (xi) received her salary (薪) in front of the encampment ((e)n1) which consists of a set of completely new (新) sheets of artificial lawn (艹). Unfortunately they catch fire and prove to be the ideal fuel (薪) for a quickly burning fire: the artificial lawn is burning down within seconds.

辛 = 十 + 立 : Xi Shi (xi) is preparing for the winter by making kimchi (辛) in front of the encampment ((e)n1). She is drying the vegetables by hanging them on crosses (十) and puts the finished kimchi into vases (立). She has been working very hard (辛) and in the end the filled eight (辛) vases with pungent hot (辛) kimchi.

欣 = 斤 + 欠 : It's Xi Shi's (xi) birthday and someone sings her happy (欣) birthday in front of the encampment ((e)n1). The person gives Xi Shi a barbell (斤) as her birthday present, which makes Xi Shi very happy (欣). The person attached an IOU note (欠) to the barbell though; Xi Shi will have to pay for the barbell eventually.

陷 = 臽 + 阝 : After Xi Shi caught the crane in the anthill's bathroom (an4) she wants to catch the pope (阝) next. She knows that a normal sling trap (臽) will not work, so she digs a pitfall (陷) this time, but to be on the safe side she installs an additional sling trap (臽) at the bottom of the pitfall (陷).

县 = 且 + 厶 : Xi Shi (xi) and the county manager of her home county are manufacturing maps of her home county (县) inside of the anthill's bathroom (an4). The county has a very special form which you can reproduce by smashing a fake nose (厶) with a shelf (且).

现 = 王 + 见 : Martin Luther King has a project in which he wants to document the current state of the nation. He has a surveillance camera put up in the anthill's bathroom and interviews Xi Shi about her views about the present time.

馅 = 臽 + 饣 : Xi Shi (xi) set up a sling trap (臽) in the anthill's bathroom (an4) and uses a Chinese cruller (饣) as bait. She'll mince (馅) whatever she catches and use as stuffing (馅) for her dumplings.

限 = 艮 + 阝 : Xi Shi (xi) caught the pope (阝) munching chewing gum (艮) in the anthill's bathroom (an4). Xi Shi hates it when someone puts their chewing gum just anywhere in the room, so she marks a confined space with red and white tape and sends the pope to stay within the limits (限) while he is chewing.

苋 = 艹 + 见 : Xi Shi steals some amaranth (苋) plants from the anthill's bathroom (an4) and replaces them with artificial lawn (艹) to hide the crime. She doesn't know that there are security cameras (见) though.

线 = 戋 + 纟 : The silk worm wants to use the floating tank in the anthill's bathroom, but there's already Xi Shi inside—and she secured the tank by setting up barbed wire all around it.

羡 = 次 + 羊 : Xi Shi (xi) envies (羡) the sheep (羊) for that nice cube (次) it has in the anthill's bathroom (an4).

线 = 戋 + 纟 : The silk worm wants to use the floating tank in the anthill's bathroom, but there's already Xi Shi inside—and she secured the tank by setting up barbed wire all around it.

献 = 南 + 犬 : The Saint Bernard dog (犬) is out of blood to bring to severe emergency spots, so Xi Shi (xi) volunteered to donate (献) blood in the anthill's bathroom (an4). To make her feel comfortable, the Saint Bernard dog set up a palm (南) from the south pacific.

臽 = ⺈ + 臼 : Xi Shi wants to catch the crane (⺈) and set up a trap (臽) in the anthill's bathroom (an4). She prepares a sling trap (臽) and places a mortar (臼) with some food in the middle of the sling, and soon she will catch the crane.

闲 = 木 + 门 : In her free time (闲) Xi Shi (xi) likes to sit in the anthill's kitchen (an2) to watch her trap door (门). She installed it right under a Christmas tree (木) so whenever someone puts a present under the Christmas tree, shortly afterwards it will fall through the trap door in Xi Shi's secret chamber.

宪 = 先 + 宀 : Xi Shi (xi) wants to commemorate the FLOTUS (先) and sets up a statue (宪) in the anthill's bathroom (an4). The statue is wearing a graduation cap (宀) and holding the constitution (宪) as if it were reading it to the people.

显 = 业 + 日 : Xi Shi (xi) is dating the bullfrog (业) in the anthill (an3). There is a prominent (显) sun (日) floating over the bullfrog which Xi Shi just cannot ignore, so she has to stare at the sun barely able to say anything for the whole evening.

险 = 佥 + 阝 : Inside of the anthill, Xi Shi, the Pope and General Fu Qian are musing about the greatest danger to the modern world. The Pope thinks that the greatest danger to the modern world is science, e.g. the development of nuclear weapons, GMOs and the like. Xi Shi thinks that the greatest threat to the modern world is religion, e.g. the formation of organizations like IS as well as conservative thinking of moderate religion. Fu Qian says that the greatest threat to the modern world are people who drink to much and say or do stupid things.

衔 = 行 + 钅 : When Xi Shi goes to war she always puts on her seven-league boots (行) in the anthill's kitchen (an2), puts her golden harpoon (钅) into her mouth like the bit of a bridle (衔) and gets going. For being so fast at the battle field she has been awarded a very high rank (衔) and a special title (衔).

咸 = 𠮛 + 戊 : Xi Shi decided to go into retreat in the anthill's kitchen, so she blocked the entrance from the inside with her fifth wheel RV. She spent a lot of time on refining a new recipe for radioactive salt, which she finally writes down on a long scroll.

闲 = 木 + 门 : In her free time (闲) Xi Shi (xi) likes to sit in the anthill's kitchen (an2) to watch her trap door (门). She installed it right under a Christmas tree (木) so whenever someone puts a present under the Christmas tree, shortly afterwards it will fall through the trap door in Xi Shi's secret chamber.

弦 = 弓 + 玄 : Xi Shi (xi) is getting trapped by black lava (玄) in the anthill's kitchen (an2) and all she has is a composite bow (弓). She plucks the string (弦) of her bow so that the chord (弦) resonates with the lava, causing it to stop its flow.

贤 = 肾 + 贝 : Just inside the anthill's kitchen (an2) Xi Shi (xi) is listening to a broadcast in the radio (肾) about how awesome and honorific (贤) crabs (贝) are. A crab is standing nearby and is very proud to be admired by Xi Shi.

鲜 = 羊 + 鱼 : Xi Shi devours her lunch in front of the anthill (an1). It consists of a dead sheep (羊) and a dead fish (鱼). Xi Shi eats the carcasses and thinks that they are very fresh (鲜) and delicious (鲜). They are, because Xi Shi killed the sheep and the fish just one minute ago.

嫌 = 兼 + 女 : Xi Shi (xi) wants to find out who ate her cookies in the anthill's kitchen (an2). She rounds up Bessie Coleman (女) as her suspect (嫌). Bessie hopes to confuse Xi Shi by hiring a double (兼) which stands next to her as the mug shots are taken.

掀 = 扌 + 欣 : Xi Shi (xi) is looking for her keys in front of the anthill (an1) and leaves no stone unturned (掀). She is very happy (欣) to find a toy claw (扌): now she doesn't have to bend down anymore to lift (掀) a rock.

鲜 = 羊 + 鱼 : Xi Shi (xi) devours her lunch in front of the anthill (an1). It consists of a dead sheep (羊) and a dead fish (鱼). Xi Shi eats the carcasses and thinks that they are very fresh (鲜) and delicious (鲜). They are, because Xi Shi killed the sheep and the fish just one minute ago.

秀 = 乃 + 禾 : Mnemonic symbol: a talent show.

Xi Shi (xi) is preparing for her performance (秀) in a talent show (秀) in the outhouse's bathroom (ou4). She will be juggling lots of bowls of cereals (禾) without spilling the cereals. Her secret is that she convinced a poltergeist (乃) to help her, which will make itself invisible during the show and handle the cereals for her.

袖 = 由 + 衤 : Xi Shi (xi) is on a party in the outhouse. In the bathroom (ou4) she prepares to continue to party by tucking a cuba libre (由) into the sleeve (袖) of her royal ermine coat (衤).

纤 = 千 + 纟 : Xi Shi (xi) finds that there are many fine (纤) silk worms (纟) in front of the anthill (a1). She wants to preserve the delicate (纤) worms and thus puts a kilo (千) on them to press and dry them.

先 = ⺧ + 儿 : Mnemonic symbol: the First Lady of the United States, FLOTUS.

In front of the anthill, Sun Wukong, the FLOTUS and Xi Shi dance around the golden calf. When it comes to be in favour of their gods, everyone of them wants to be first.
