昨 = 乍 + 日 : Yesterday (昨) Zapatista Zebra (zu) cut the sun's (日) hair in the observatory's kitchen (o2). They were both singing "yesterday" (昨) as Zapatista Zebra was turning the sun's crazy hair into an awesome Mohawk (乍) cut.

怎 = 乍 + 心 : Zorro (z) wakes up in the encampment's living room ((e)n3) and can't remember how he even got there. Slowly, as he touches his head, he realizes that he has a Mohawk haircut (乍) now and almost gets a heart (心) attack. His heart (心) is pumping so hard as if it wanted to jump out of his chest. How (怎) on earth could this have happened???

页 = 丆 + 贝 : It's just too hot in the elevator for the crab (贝), so it wants to return to the ocean. Inside of the elevator's bathroom (e4), Maud Younger (y) helps it to do so. The plan is to just flush it down the toilet. The toilet is operated with the help of wind power, but there's no wind today. Maud Younger makes short work, grabs two sheets of paper (页) and waves them towards the wind turbine (丆) until it turns really quickly. Finally the crab can return home.

作 = 亻 + 乍 : Rosa Luxemburg (亻) and Zapatista Zebra (zu) engage in (作) high-fiveing in the observatory's bathroom (o4) because they're growing so awesome Mohawk (乍) haircuts.

Mnemonic symbol: a Mohawk haircut. It fits the hair "to stand on end" and the character itself looks like a left facing head with a Mohawk haircut.
