Mnemonic comic for 口

哄 = 共 + 口 : Helga Horse (hu) wants to eat a mandarin (口) all by herself in the engine's bathroom ((e)ng4), but the communist (共) causes an uproar (哄) because she is supposed to share the mandarin with everyone.

嘲 = 口 + 朝 : The pilgrim (朝) is getting ready in the aorta's kitchen (ao2) for his big trip. He packed lots and lots of mandarins (口) on his back. Charlie Chaplin (ch) mocks (嘲) him for just packing mandarins, but as Charlie is laughing, he trips over a mandarin and falls, giving the pilgrim an opportunity to mock (嘲) him in return.

哨 = 口 + 肖 : The little prince (肖) took a part time job working as a sentry (哨) for Sherlock Holmes (sh). In the aortas's bathroom (ao4) he whistles (哨), thereby giving the secret signal to Sherlock. Sherlock answers by holding up a mandarin (口), which is the secret signal of acknowledgement.

员 = 口 + 贝 : Mnemonic symbol from 服务员, a waiter.

咐 = 付 + 口 : Frieda Fox (fu) ordered (咐) a mandarin (口) but is shocked as she gets the paycheck (付) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4) since it is so expensive to ship a mandarin and a paycheck to the space station.

占 = ⺊ + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: a yellow umbrella. James II of England (zh) occupies (占) the anthill's bathroom (an4). He uses a pennant (⺊) stuck into a mandarin (口) to mark his territory. The ants are silently protesting with yellow umbrellas (占).
