中 = 丨 + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: a dart board, because you always try to hit the center.

Julian Giant Squid (zhu-) is throwing dinosaur bones (丨) as darts on a dart board in front of the engine ((e)ng1). To make it a bit more difficult he's throwing mandarins (口) into the air as well and skewers them up right in the center (中 is a mandarin skewered on a dinosaur bone) in mid flight with the dinosaur bones. He's still able to consistently hit the center (中) of the dart board.

央 = ⺆ + 大 : Mnemonic symbol: 中央处理机, central processing unit (CPU).

In front of the anglepod, Maud Younger received her new robot. Soon she is not satisfied with his artificial intelligence; to increase it, she staples a CPU to the center of its chest, although the robot begs her not to do so.

直 = 十 + 目 + 一 : Mnemonic symbol: someone straight edge. James II of England (zh) decided to go straight edge (直) in the space station's kitchen (Ø2), and he also decided that this means he won't listen to music anymore. The Eye of Providence (目) promptly plays some music on its flute (一) to tease him, whereupon the James II of England defends himself by holding up a cross (十).

辖 = 害 + 车 : Marie Curie (xi) and Calamity Jane (害) are ruling the country (辖) from their cabriolet (车) as they drive out of the ashram's kitchen (a2).

市 = 亠 + 巾 : Mnemonic symbol: a supermarket.

Sherlock Holmes (sh) started a supermarket (市) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4), but all he has for sale right now are berets (亠) and towels (巾). He should have opened it at the beach!
