小洞不堵，大洞吃苦

小 = 八 + 亅 : Mnemonic symbol: a small daisy. 小 looks like the stem 亅 of the flower is pushing aside the earth 八 as it grows out of the seed in the ground.

Xi Shi (xi) is decorating her hair with lots of small (小) daisies (mnemonic symbol for 小) in the aorta's living room (ao3). 洞 = 同 + 氵 : Doggy Dog (du) finds two twins (同) have fallen down the cave (洞) in the engine's bathroom ((e)ng4). He immediately begins to dig a tunnel to bring them a bottle of water (氵) until more help arrives.

不 = 丆 + 卜 : Bruno Bear (bu) is setting up a wind wheel (丆) with a voodoo staff (卜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He also puts a "forbidden" sign (mnemonic symbol for 不) on it, to make clear that it may not (不) be stopped.

堵 = 土 + 者 : Louis XIV (者) built castle walls (堵) out of dirt (土) in the space station (Ø3), but now since the passage through the space station is blocked (堵), every morning when Doggy Dog (du) commutes to work he gets stuck in a traffic jam (堵) caused by the castle walls.

大 = 一 + 人 : The big (大), huge (大) robot (mnemonic symbol for 大) is working out in the ashram's bathroom (a4). He's lifting a flute (一) to which Don Quixote (d) and Neanderthal man (人) are clinging.

吃 = 乞 + 口 : Charlie Chaplin and the beggar are floating in front of the space station. Charlie Chaplin is very hungry and begs the beggar to hand over the beggar's mandarin.

苦 = 艹 + 古 : Karl Koala decided to repent for his sins and retreated into a cloister inside the space station. There he leads a very simple life full of hardship, e.g. he gave up on eucalyptus and just eats very bitter artificial lawn.
