食之無味，棄之可惜

食 = 亽 + 艮 : Mnemonic symbol: a bag of instant noodles.

Sherlock Holmes (sh) went camping in the space station's bathroom (Ø2). As foodstuffs he brought chewing gum (艮) and instant noodles (食), but he forgot to bring his gas stove, so in front of his tipi (亽) He is eating chewing gums all day.

之 = 丶 + Z : Mnemonic symbol: Sooo sleepy... "zZz" (the character looks like a "Z"). James II of England (zh) fell asleep in front of the space station (Ø1). He sleeps on a big petal leaf (丶), making loud "zZz" (之) sounds.

无 = 一 + 𠂇 + 乚 : Mnemonic symbol: the philosopher Diogenes, who has nothing and wants nothing.

无 = 一 + 𠂇 + 乚 : Just inside the space station's entrance, Diogenes is annoyed by Willy Walrus, who's playing his flute. Diogenes just wants a peaceful time without being disturbed, so he cuts the flute into pieces with a pair of scissors, and threatens to beat Willy Walrus with a shovel should he annoy Diogenes again.

Mnemonic symbol: 無爲, wu2 wei2, the state of non-doing after having attained complete harmony with the Tao.

Willy Walrus (w) has attained Wu Wei (無) just inside the space station's entrance (Ø2), while from the outside it may seem like he is napping.

味 = 口 + 未 : Willy Walrus is wondering about that strange smell in the bathroom of the Eiffel Tower. He can't quite place it. The smell is from Ai Weiwei's new installation: A tower of mandarins.

弃 = 亠 + 弁 : The Queen of Hearts (qi) made a vow to not wear any hats anymore in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). She thus throws away (弃) her caps (弁) and her berets (亠) by throwing it out of the window into outer space.

可 = 丁 + 口 : Karl Marx (k) is challenging his abilities (可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He tries to force a nail (丁) into a mandarin (口), just by using his head. On top of that he tries to do so one thousand times, in order to create a bed of nails (mnemonic symbol for 可).

可 = 丁 + 口 : Alternative mnemonic symbol: kebab, from the pronunciation "ke". Karl Marx (k) is preparing a kebab (mnemonic symbol for 可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He also skewers mandarins (口) on the long steel nails (丁) and will only allow (可) his guests to eat the rest of the kebab if they eat their mandarins first.

惜 = 忄 + 昔 : NASA ordered Marie Curie (xi) to do an experiment for them in front of the space station (Ø1). They are spending 2000000000 bucks to see what happens when you crush a milk shake (昔) with a flail (忄) in outer space. Marie Curie thinks it is a pity (惜) and would rather drink her cherished (惜) milk shake rather than crush it.
