Mnemonic symbol: Beijing is China’s capital, and a characteristic landmark of Beijing is the building called the underpants. Joan of Arc (ji) is trying out Beijing’s large underpants (京) in front of the engine ((e)ng1). The underpants have a nice pattern consisting of paintings of berets (亠), mandarins (口) and daisies (小).
Strong independent woman! While the Beijing underpants are a very good mnemonic symbol, the mnemonic itself isn't very good, since the daisies, berets and mandarins as the underpant's pattern can be arbitrarily replaced with other objects. It would be better to use a mnemonic using the daisie's smell, the mandarin's squishiness and taste, and the beret's soft cloth. But this is something I learned way after I wrote this one. Maybe I'll write a better mnemonic some day.

The large underpants are playfully decorated with a cheerful pattern of bright orange mandarins, soft white daisies, and stylish berets. The colorful design pops against the bright fabric.
