可 = 丁 + 口 : Karl Marx (k) is challenging his abilities (可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He tries to force a nail (丁) into a mandarin (口), just by using his head. On top of that he tries to do so one thousand times, in order to create a bed of nails (mnemonic symbol for 可).

He also skewers mandarins (口) on the long steel nails (丁) and will only allow (可) his guests to eat the rest of the kebab if they eat their mandarins first.

霉 = 每 + 雨 : Mahatma Gandhi (m) is working out every day (每) in the Eiffel Tower's kitchen (ei2). Every time the sweat is raining (雨) off of his body and he never opens the window. Because of the humid air, a lot of mold (霉) has formed over time.

素 = 龶 + 糸 : Susan Saint Bernard (su) has decided to become a vegan (素) and to let everyone know. In the space station's bathroom (Ø4) she manufactures a fancy headdress (龶) in the form of a vegan flower (素) out of her own spider silk (糸) so that everyone who sees her instantly knows that she's vegan (素).
