She joined many composite bows (弓) by sticking their ends into popsicles (冫) which weren frozen again afterwards. Her whole construction is a huge armchair, but it is very fragile and weak (弱), so Rachel puts on it many of these "handle with care" stickers.

兵 = 丘 + 八 : Brunhilde and the soldier visit a burial mound in front of the engine. It is round like a ball like the deceased inside. To commemorate the round fallen soldier they put up a big eight-ball.
