不识庐山真面目

不 = 丆 + 卜 : Bruno Bear (bu) is setting up a wind wheel (丆) with a voodoo staff (卜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He also puts a "forbidden" sign (mnemonic symbol for 不) on it, to make clear that it may not (不) be stopped.

识 = 只 + 讠 : Sherlock Holmes (sh) is inspecting the new arrival at the entrance of the space station (Ø2). It's a big advertising column (讠) with a cuttlefish (只) on it, to broaden the space station's inhabitant's knowledge (识).

山 = 丨 + 凵 : Mnemonic symbol: 山 looks like the tip of a fork. Sherlock Holmes (sh) is climbing a mountain (山) in front of the anthill (an1). He uses a dinosaur bone (〡) as walking stick, and to have better grip he attached a fork (山) to its tip. Unfortunately he accidentally sticks the fork into a receptacle (凵) on the ground of the mountain and gets shocked.

真 = 具 + 十 : Mnemonic symbol: a replicator. It generates real and genuine things out of nothing. Looks like a microwave with a cross as antenna. James II of England (zh) broke his replicator (真) in front of the encampment ((e)n1): the cross (十) on the top is broken. Using his toolbox (具), James II of England tries his best to fix it. Fortunately he has a genuine, authorized, real (真) replacement cross.

面 = 丆 + 囬 : Mnemonic symbol: a spray flask with one of these liquids which make a surface super slippery.

In the anthill's bathroom (an4), Marilyn Monroe (mi) wants to set up a wind wheel (丆) on top of a closet (囬). Just as she tries to fix it she slips and falls down, the wind wheel crashing on the floor. She didn't notice that somebody used a can of non-stick coating (面) on the closet's surfaces (面).

目 = 囗 + 二 : Mnemonic symbol: the Eye of Providence (目).

Malte Monkey (mu-) is unpacking an enclosure (囗) full of capacitors (二). He's afraid that the Eye of Providence (目) will see him, so he does it secretly in the space station's bathroom (-Ø4).
