四 = 儿 + 囗 : Mnemonic symbol: a four-leaved clover. Socrates (s) is working out in the bathroom of the space station (Ø4). He's lifting four (四) wooden boxes (囗), and wonders why they are so heavy. He doesn't know that inside one of the four boxes, the monkey king (儿) is hiding and secretly laughing at him - until the monkey king comes out and surprises Socrates with a four-leaved clover (四).

A new river has formed in front of the anthill, and Chantal Chicken is happy that now she'll be able to float to the pub instead of having to walk to it.

盆 = 分 + 皿 : Pinocchio (p) wants to improve his stereo and thinks of using a shallow bowl (皿) as a sound bowl. To find out its natural frequency he has a flower pot (盆) roll inside the bowl to and fro and stops the periodicity using a stopwatch (分) in the encampment's kitchen ((e)n2).

地 = 也 + 土 : Dorothy Gale (di) hates the cleanliness of the space station, so she used an excavator (也) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4) to dig a pile of dirt (土) out of the ground (地) for a mud bath.
