红 = 工 + 纟 : Mnemonic symbol: a little red book.

Helga Horse (hu) is reading the little red book (红) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2), when she discovers that it is being eaten by a silk worm (纟). She overreacts a little and wants to beat the silk worm with a steel beam (工).

外 = 夕 + 卜 : There's a hole in the wall of the airplane's bathroom (ai4), and from outside (外), a bat (夕) wants to enter. Willy Walrus (w) is very afraid of bats, so he does his best to hinder the bat from entering with a voodoo staff (卜).

光 = 小 + 兀 : Mnemonic symbol: a laser pointer.

光 = 小 + 兀 : Gitta Giraffe is giving a big concert in front of the anglepod. She set up a lot of laser pointers for the light show, the audience is throwing daisies up to her and she is just rocking her 胡兀尔.

谱 = 普 + 讠 : Petra Penguin (pu) is having Sputnik (普) chart the spectra (谱) he recorded draw on an advertising column (讠) in the space station (Ø3). Petra will use this information to create a musical score (谱).
