相 = 木 + 目 : Mnemonic symbol: I take "eye" and "tree" as resembling an ent, an alive tree. Xi Shi (xi) portrays (相) an ent (相) in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4). Unfortunately she's really bad at painting, and her portrait resembles more a Christmas tree (木). The Eye of Providence (目) enters and, just from the shape of the Christmas Tree, instantly recognizes its own portrait (相).

互 = 一 + 彑 : Helga Horse (hu) is freezing in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). She rubs her two front hooves mutually (互) against each other to warm up a little. Even her wet snout (彑) is frozen: she cannot play the flute (一) anymore.

保 = 亻 + 呆 : Mnemonic symbol: a safe.

In the aorta (ao3), the fool (呆) and Rosa Luxemburg (亻) unite their forces to protect (保) the world and try to lock Beelzebub (b) in a safe (保).

证 = 正 + 讠 : James II of England (zh) is not allowed to stay any longer in the engine, so in the bathroom ((e)ng4) he forges a visa (证) so he can stay. On an advertising column (讠) he scribbles his fake visa, but (like me) he sucks at drawing, so he is only able to draw a stick figure (正) where his photo should go.

毁 = 臼 + 工 + 殳 : Helga Horse (hu) wants to destroy (毁) a left over steel beam (工) in the Eiffel Tower (ei3) and uses a halberd (殳) to pulverize it in a mortar (臼). During this process she does not only destroy the steel beam, but also the halberd.

灭 = 一 + 火 : In the elevator's bathroom (e4) Marilyn Monroe (mi) was playing the flute (一) so hot that it is on fire (火) now! Luckily there's a fire extinguisher so that she can put it out (灭).
