欧 = 区 + 欠 : In front oft the outhouse, Europe is waving with her IOU note towards Einstein, who is totally broke. If Europe turned around, she would notice the alien from Area 51 claiming his money from her.

洲 = 州 + 氵 : James II of England (zh) traveled to a new continent (洲), founded a new nation, and built a replica of the outhouse which looks exactly like the original one. To celebrate his achievements he planted a red cotton tree (州) in front of the replica outhouse (ou1). Every day, he waters it with a bottle of water (氵) to commemorate the old continent.

之 = 丶 + Z : Mnemonic symbol: Sooo sleepy... "zZz" (the character looks like a "Z"). James II of England (zh) fell asleep in front of the space station (Ø1). He sleeps on a big petal leaf (丶), making loud "zZz" (之) sounds.

星 = 日 + 生 : The sun (日) and a satellite (星) had a love affair and now have a baby: Xi Shi (xi) is quietly sleeping in her little cradle (生) in front of the engine ((e)ng1).
