延 = 廴 + 正 : Maud Younger (y) is playing Go on a Go board (廴) against the stick-figure (正) in the anthill's kitchen (an2), but Maud Younger is playing remotely via a computer. Maud is losing and she's blaming the lag (延) she's experiencing through her slow connection.

期 = 其 + 月 : Recently the Queen of Hearts (qi) has become an astronomer. In front of the space station (Ø1) she sits on top of a watchtower (其) and watches the moon (月). From the moon's movement around the tower she wants to calculate its period and phase (期). She didn't consider though that not only the moon is orbiting around her, she is also orbiting the moon.

The bachelor then pulls out a guideon (示) showing that he's a member of some special force, and that Karl Koala, because of his greed, will have to pay a fine (款).
