中 = 丨 + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: a dart board, because you always try to hit the center.

Julian Giant Squid (zhu-) is throwing dinosaur bones (丨) as darts on a dart board in front of the engine ((e)ng1). To make it a bit more difficult he's throwing mandarins (口) into the air as well and skewers them up right in the center (中 is a mandarin skewered on a dinosaur bone) in mid flight with the dinosaur bones. He's still able to consistently hit the center (中) of the dart board.

国 = 囗 + 玉 : Mnemonic symbol: a nation's flag. Let's say the Chinese flag.

In the observatory's kitchen (o2) Gitta Giraffe (gu) is practising her ballet performance. She got a whole crate (囗) full of jade bracelets (玉) and flags (国) and fixed one flag to each jade bracelet. This makes a perfect combination for throwing the ring with the flag waving behind it and catching the ring again after a few pirouettes.

建 = 廴 + 聿 : Mnemonic symbol: Blob the Builder.

Blob the Builder (建) and Joan of Arc (ji) want to construct (建) a Go (廴) field in the anthill's bathroom (an4), so they paint the field on the floor using decorator's brushes (聿).

设 = 殳 + 讠 : Recently Sherlock Holmes had less and less customers, so he wants to set up an advertising campaign. He starts in the elevator's bathroom setting up an advertising column. It is lying on the floor, and Sherlock tries to lever it up using a halberd.

银 = 艮 + 钅 : Maud Younger spotted a large silver sphere hanging above the entrance to the encampment. She wants to have it and repeatedly throws a golden harpoon at it; to retract the harpoon she uses a chewing gum which she attached to the harpoon, so that it expands to a long rope as she throws the golden harpoon at the silver sphere.

行 = 亍 + 彳 : Mnemonic symbol from "to travel": seven-league boots.

Xi Shi (xi) is tired of walking with a black sneaker on her left foot (彳) and a full armor boot on her right foot (亍). Fortunately she finds seven-league boots (行) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2).
