学 = 小 + 冖 + 子 : Xu Xian wants to study scienceology and learn more about daisies. Just inside the elevator's kitchen, he put some daisies into a prize cup and covered them with a cooking top. He wants to study the growth rate of the daisies depending on the pH of the water in the prize cup.

然 = 灬 + 肰 : Robinson Crusoe is grilling some dog meat on his BBQ in the anthill's kitchen, but it's hard to do it correctly because of all the animal rights activists. They think it's not right to grill dog meat.

后 = ⺁ + 𠮛 : Mnemonic symbol: Zenobia, Queen of Palmyra. Zenobia (后) and Hamlet (h) want to bake banana bread in the outhouse's bathroom (ou4), but they don't know how. Behind (后) a banana tree (⺁) they study a scroll (𠮛) on which the recipe is written.

知 = 口 + 矢 : Mnemonic symbol: Francis Bacon is attributed to have stated "scientia potentia est", "knowledge is power". I'll thus represent 知 by Francis Bacon. Francis Bacon (知) and James II of England (zh) are playing darts (矢) in front of the space station (Ø1). Because they lack a dart board they just use a mandarin (口).

不 = 丆 + 卜 : Bruno Bear (bu) is setting up a wind wheel (丆) with a voodoo staff (卜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He also puts a "forbidden" sign (mnemonic symbol for 不) on it, to make clear that it may not (不) be stopped.

足 = 龰 + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: a football. Zapatista Zebra (zu) wants to pimp his football (足) in the space station's kitchen (Ø2). He thinks that a few more vitamins wouldn't hurt, so he extracts the vitamins from a mandarin (口) with a syringe (龰) to inject them into his football.
