天災地孽

天 = 一 + 大 : Mnemonic symbol: an angel from heaven. Mother Teresa (ti) programmed a robot (大) to play a flute duet together with her in front of the anthill (an1). As they play their flutes (一) an angel (mnemonic symbol for 天) hears their heavenly tune and descends from heaven (天) to listen to them.

灾 = 宀 + 火 : Zorro (z) just earned his PhD and is celebrating it with a bonfire (火) in front of the airplane (ai1), but then he accidentally drops his graduation cap (宀) and his certificate into the fire! What a disaster (灾)!

地 = 也 + 土 : Dorothy Gale (di) hates the cleanliness of the space station, so she used an excavator (也) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4) to dig a pile of dirt (土) out of the ground (地) for a mud bath.
