瓜田不納履，李下不整冠

瓜 = ⺁ + 厶 + ㇏ : Gitta Giraffe (gu) inspects the banana trees (⺁) in front of the ashram (a1) every day. One day, she found a very strange banana: she looked at it, and it looked like a melon (瓜). She then poked it with her finger (㇏). It felt like a melon! She then sniffed at it with her fake nose (厶). The banana smelled like a melon (瓜)! What a strange banana, Gitta thought to herself.

田 = 囗 + 十 : Mother Teresa (ti) wants to plant a field (田) of crosses (十) in the anthill's kitchen (an2). She ordered an enclosure (囗) full of crosses (十) and puts them up one by one.

不 = 丆 + 卜 : Bruno Bear (bu) is setting up a wind wheel (丆) with a voodoo staff (卜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He also puts a "forbidden" sign (mnemonic symbol for 不) on it, to make clear that it may not (不) be stopped.

纳 = 内 + 纟 : Napoleon (n) took a tiny CT scan (内) of the silk worm (纟) in the ashram's bathroom (a4). The silkworm is relieved when it receives (纳) the scan and realizes that everything is ok.

李 = 子 + 木 : In the space station, Li Qingzhao shakes a Christmas tree which is decorated with eggs. The eggs fly off and as they break open, plums fly out of them.

下 = 一 + 卜 : Mnemonic symbol: from the up/down logic, and a little bit the shape of the character, a ladder.

Xi Shi (xi) is on a retreat in the ashram. Using a voodoo staff (卜), she divined that next (下) week she'll have to play the flute (一) sixteen hours per day. Because she hates playing the flute, she climbs over the ashram's bathroom (a4) wall using a ladder (下) to escape.

整 = 敕 + 正 : James II of England (zh) has been the guardian of the engine for a long time. One day a stick figure (正) shows up with the imperial order (敕) to renovate the engine and make a fuel cell electric drive out of it. James II of England can only watch in horror as the stick figure starts overhauling the engine's living room ((e)ng3).

冠 = 冖 + 元 + 寸 : Gitta Giraffe (gu) is busking in front of the anthill (an1). She has a hat (冠) lying in front of her, but the hat is protected by a cooking top (冖). Many passersby give her the thumbs up (寸) or put some coins (元) into her hat.

冠 = 冖 + 元 + 寸 : After a long day of work Gitta Giraffe (gu) empties her hat (冠) in the anthill's bathroom (an4), puts the coins (元) in her pocket and puts the hat on (冠). She tosses the cooking top (冖) in a corner and gives herself the thumbs up (寸).
