灯 = 丁 + 火 : Don Quixote (d) was going for a walk in front of the engine ((e)ng1) with his lantern (灯) when it suddenly catched fire (火). He used a lantern which utilizes hydrogen, and when he accidentally ripped his lantern open at a nail (丁) on the floor, the hydrogen caught fire.

塔 = 土 + 荅 : Tecumseh (t) opened a minaret (塔) in the ashram (a3). Because he is too lazy to sing himself all day, he set up an answering machine (荅) to play the prayers and built a funnel out of clay (土) for better sound.

After he quenches his thirst, he also finds a snack: A banana is swimming in the water. He never ate a banana before, so he tries a mix of different methods: Putting on a fake beak to pick on the banana, holding it with a finger and peeling it with a crowbar.
