孪生姐妹

孪 = 亦 + 子 : Lenny Lemur (lu) and the also-ran (亦) are twins (孪): they hatched out of the same egg (子) in the anthill's kitchen (an2).

生 = 牛 + 一 : Mnemonic symbol: a cradle.

Sherlock Holmes (sh) comforts a crying baby bull (牛) in a cradle (生) in front of the engine ((e)ng1) and plays him a tune on a flute (一).

姐 = 且 + 女 : Bessie Coleman (女) and Joan of Arc (ji) have been searching through an ancestry archive for days and days. Inside of the elevator (e3) they stand in front of a shelf (且) which contains thousands of ancestry records, and after they worked very hard, they found out that through some complicated lineage they are older sisters (姐) to each other.

妹 = 女 + 未 : Bessie Coleman, (女) her younger sister (妹), Mahatma Gandhi (m) and Ai Weiwei (未) are playing a game of Schafkopf in the Eiffel Tower's bathroom (ei4). Somehow Bessie and her sister always end up in the same team, which makes Mahatma Gandhi and Ai Weiwei very suspicious.
