国 = 囗 + 玉 : Mnemonic symbol: a nation's flag. Let's say the Chinese flag.

In the observatory's kitchen (o2) Gitta Giraffe (gu) is practising her ballet performance. She got a whole crate (囗) full of jade bracelets (玉) and flags (国) and fixed one flag to each jade bracelet. This makes a perfect combination for throwing the ring with the flag waving behind it and catching the ring again after a few pirouettes.

立 = 䒑 + 亠 : Li Qing Zhao hides some weed in a vase in the space station's bathroom. To get the weed there, she transports it under her beret.

显 = 业 + 日 : Marie Curie (xi) is dating the bullfrog (业) in the anthill (an3). There is a prominent (显) sun (日) floating over the bullfrog which Marie just cannot ignore, so she has to stare at the sun barely able to say anything for the whole evening.

忠 = 中 + 心 : Julian Giant Squid (zhu) plays darts every day in front of the engine ((e)ng1). He is very loyal (忠) to his club and even has a darts board (中) tattooed onto his heart (心).

院 = 完 + 阝 : The pope (阝) wants to join the cloister (寺院), but first he has to pass Yu the Great's (yu) test. He has to run as fast as he can from Vatikan City to the anthill's bathroom (an4), where the entrance to the cloister is. As he arrives at the bathroom huffing and puffing, Yu the Great is waving with a checkered flag.
