含沙射影

含 = 今 + 口 : Hamlet (h) caught a cold and in order to cure it, he follows a very strict medicine plan. He put up a rip-off calendar (今) in the anthill's kitchen which shows when he has to put a cough drop (mnemonic symbol for 含) in his mouth (口) to suck (含). The calendar always shows the right date: today (今). Hamlet made the cough drops himself out of mandarins (口).

沙 = 少 + 氵 : Sherlock Holmes (sh) is selling bottles (氵) in front of the ashram (a1). Smiley (少) comes round because thon is very thirsty and buys a bottle, just to find out that it contains only sand (沙).

射 = 寸 + 身 : Mnemonic symbol: a rocket launch pad.

Sherlock Holmes (sh) is ready for takeoff in the elevator's bathroom (e4) and stands on of the launch pad (射) taking a final shower. As there are many journalists, Sherlock prepared to be extra fancy and wears a tight body suit (身). He smiles at the photographers and shows them a thumbs up (寸).

影 = 彡 + 景 : Maud Younger (y) wants to watch a movie (影) inside of the engine ((e)ng3), but only men are allowed. She doesn't bounce back but instead, being a suffragist, puts on a long, fake Santa beard (彡). She enters to find that the whole movie consists of a still frame of a bonsai tree, a landscape in a pot. Back in the days, the script writers were not so experienced it seems.
