黄 = 井 + 由 + 八 : Mnemonic symbol: the Yellow Emperor.

Helga Horse (hu) invited the Yellow Emperor (黄) to have a few cuba libres (由) in the anglepod's kitchen (ang2). But it's a trap! After the yellow emperor is drunk enough, Helga Horse spills eightballs (八) on the floor for the yellow emperor to trip on and fall into a well (井).

滔 = 氵 + 舀 : Tecumseh (t) is scooping out (舀) water out of a water bottle (氵) so quickly in front of the aorta (ao1) that the whole area is flooded (滔) and the torrents are dashing around (滔) very fiercely.
