三俠五義

三 = 一 + 二 : Mnemonic symbol: a Cartesian coordinate system with three (三) axes.

Socrates (s-) is performing in front of the anthill (-an1). He created an electrical flute by attaching a large capacitor (二) to the flute (一), so that he can get the attention of all the ants. Moreover, he's balancing on a Cartesian coordinate system (三). Unfortunately, only three (三) ants stop to watch the performance.

侠 = 亻 + 夹 : Marie Curie (xi) decided to become a knight errant (侠). In the ashram's kitchen (a2) Rosa Luxemburg (亻) gives her a sandwich (夹) for her journeys and says goodbye to her.

五 = 王 + 丨 : A pentagram.

五 = 王 + 丨 : Martin Luther King helps Willy Walrus to construct a pentagram out of dinosaur bones inside the space station.

义 = 丶 + 乂 : Mnemonic symbol: Justitia.

Justitia (义) and Maud Younger (y) want to fix the shower in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). Just as Justitia is about to grab the shower head with her pliers (乂) she is blinded by a petal leaf (丶) floating about and instead grabs Maud's head with her pliers. This is Maud's just punishment as she broke the shower head in the first place.
