近 = 斤 + 辶 : Joan of Arc (ji) tries to lift two very heavy bar bells (斤) in the encampment's bathroom ((e)n4) while wearing gladiator sandals (辶). She cannot lift them even a little bit though; the bar bells are always very close (斤) to her gladiator sandals.

朱 = 丿 + 未 : Mnemonic symbol: a vermilion flycatcher.

Ai Weiwei (未) caught eight vermilion flycatchers (朱) for his new art project and brought them to the space station, but they escaped. In front of the space station (Ø1) they are hiding in the Julian Giant Squid's (zhu) arms. Julian Giant Squid's and the birds' colors match really well so Ai Weiwei cannot see the birds, but Ai Weiwei lures them with a banana (丿) and finally one of the birds flies to the banana, bringing attention to the others as well.

赤 = 一 + 亦 : Mnemonic symbol: a red letter.

Charlie Chaplin (ch) finds that the also-ran (亦) ran over his flute (一) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4) bare-footed (赤). Angrily he gives the also-ran a red letter (赤).

墨 = 土 + 黑 : Mahatma Gandhi (m) is using his creativity to write a new protester's placard in the observatory's bathroom (o4). he fixed an ink stick (墨) to his head and writes on a blackboard (黑). Later he tries to use dirt (土) to clean his head, but he'll find that it won't work and some dirty words have been tattooed to his forehead (墨).
