莲蓬

莲 = 艹 + 连 : Li Qingzhao (li) wants to add lotus (莲) to the anthill's menu, so she sets up a big water tank in the kitchen (an2). In the tank she fixes sheets of artificial lawn (艹) to the bottom of the tank using chains (连) to act as scaffold for the new lotus (莲) plants.

蓬 = 艹 + 逢 : Pinocchio (p) is waiting for his blind date (逢) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2), but unfortunately there is a lot of disheveled (蓬) artificial lawn (艹) lying around which destroys the otherwise nice atmosphere.
