自 = 丶 + 目 : Mnemonic symbol: a hand mirror, which someone uses to look at themselves.

The Eye of Providence (目) is looking at itself (自) in a handheld mirror (自) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). It think it's indeed looking very good, since Zorro (z) attached a petal (丶) to its eye (目).

驾 = 加 + 马 : Today the unicorn (马) is going to pilot (驾) a plane for the first time. As it gets ready in the ashram's bathroom (a4), Joan of Arc (ji) is cheering waving with her pom poms (加).

汽 = 气 + 氵 : The Queen of Hearts (qi) conducts an experiment in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). She attached an empty balloon (气) to a water bottle (氵) and uses a lighter to make the water boil. Subsequently the water becomes water vapor (汽) and fills the balloon, enabling the queen to estimate the vapor volume.

车 = 七 + 十 : Charlie Chaplin (ch) is parading in a cabriolet (mnemonic symbol for 车) in front of the elevator (e1), because he wants to establish his new cult. Like all successful leaders, he takes the carrot-and-stick approach: In one hand he's waving with a seven-branched laser sword (七), in the other one he's waving with a cross (十).

出 = 屮 + 凵 : Mnemonic symbol: 出 tilted 90 degrees looks like "EE". "EE" is an abbreviation for "emergency exit". In front of the space station (Ø1) Chantal Chicken (chu) plugged her thornbush (屮) into a receptacle (凵), but it short circuited and immediately caught fire. Chantal has no option but to use the emergency exit (出) she came out of to go back into the space station.

租 = 且 + 禾 : Zapatista Zebra (zu) started a new business in front of the space station (Ø1). It consists of a shelf (且) with many cereal bowls (禾) which anyone can rent (租). So far he's very unsuccessful though, maybe because of the poor choice of his store's location.
