當一天和尚撞一天鐘

当 = 小 + 彐 : This character looks like an angry pitbull. 小 forms the eyes and maybe nose, and 彐 are the dangerous teeth.

当 = 小 + 彐 : Don Quixote opposes a dangerous pit bull in front of the anglepod, and he tries to calm him down with a daisy.

Maud Younger (y) forgot her keys to the space station (Ø1), all she brought outside was her flute (一). She has no choice but to crash the door with the giant flute.

天 = 一 + 大 : Mother Teresa (ti) programmed a robot (大) to play a flute duet together with her in front of the anthill (an1). As they play their flutes (一) an angel (天) hears their heavenly tune and descends from heaven to listen to them.

和 = 口 + 禾 : Hamlet (h) came up with a plan for world peace (和): He wants to end hunger once and for all by distributing cereals (禾) and mandarins (口) all over the world, starting in the elevator's kitchen (e2).

尚 = ⺌ + 冋 : Mnemonic symbol: 和尚, a buddhist monk.

Sherlock Holmes (sh) assumed his new post inside of the anglepod's bathroom (ang4) at the border control checkpoint (冋). His first client is a buddhist monk (尚) who wants to import some aloe vera (⺌). Sherlock asks him what he thinks how large the value (尚) of his goods is, but the buddhist monk has no idea.

撞 = 扌 + 童 : The golden boy (童) is trying to hit (撞) Julian Giant Squid (zhu) with a toy claw (扌) in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4), but he has no chance against his many tentacles and many toy claws.

钟 = 中 + 钅 : Julian Giant Squid (zhu) practices trick shots in front of the engine ((e)ng1). He tries to hit a dart board (中) with golden harpoons (钅). He's not going for direct hits though, but trying to bounce the golden harpoons off of a huge bell (钟) first.
