灯 = 丁 + 火 : Don Quixote (d) was going for a walk in front of the engine ((e)ng1) with his lantern (灯) when it suddenly catched fire (火). He used a lantern which utilizes hydrogen, and when he accidentally ripped his lantern open at a nail (丁) on the floor, the hydrogen caught fire.

笼 = ⺮ + 龙 : Lenny Lemur (lu) prepared dim sum in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2). As the dragon (龙) smells the dim sum he wants to try some, but Lenny Lemur (lu) covers (笼) the flat bamboo basket (笼) with a bamboo stick (⺮) to prevent the dragon from stealing the dim sum.

果 = 木 + 田 : Gitta Giraffe is not feeling well inside observatory and decides to eat healthy. To plant a field, she first distributes some Christmas trees as manure, then puts a field on it and finally plants some ravines. Soon she will be eating grapes and feel better.
