盼 = 分 + 目 : Pinocchio (p) has been occupying the anthill's toilet (an4) for quite some time now, and the Eye of Providence (目) seriously hopes (盼) for Pinocchio to finish soon. The Eye of Providence is already looking at a stop watch (分) to see how long Pinocchio actually blocked the toilet, but it expects him to come out any minute (分) now.

朋 = 月 : Mnemonic symbol: a pair of slippers.

徘 = 彳 + 非 : Pinocchio (p) wants to sell his black sneakers (彳) on the internet, but he is very irresolute (徘) about how to photograph them. In the airplane's kitchen (ai2) he moves back and forth (徘) to find the best shooting angle until he uses up his last negative (非).

旁 = 六 + 冖 + 方 : Mnemonic symbol: bourbon, 波旁.

The beast (六) just entered the anglepod (ang2) and got a quest from Pinocchio (p). Pinocchio asked the beast to fit a cooking top (冖) into a square (方). If he succeeds, he'll get a bottle of bourbon (旁), so the beast is jumping on the cooking top madly trying to push it through the square.

胖 = 半 + 月 : King Solomon (半) and Pinocchio (p) are bragging about how fat (胖) they are in the anglepod's bathroom (ang4). To support their claim they each secretly stuffed a small moon (月) under their shirts.

畔 = 半 + 田 : Pinocchio (p) and King Solomon (半) are negotiating the boundary of their fields (畔) in the anthill's bathroom (an4). King Solomon is very accommodating in that he continues to half (半) his field.

判 = 刂 + 半 : Pinocchio (p) has to appear before King Solomon (半) for his mischief in the anthill's bathroom (an4). King Solomon judges (判) that Pinocchio should be cut in halves (半) with a kitchen knife (刂). Upon hearing this Pinocchio is telling so many lies that his nose grows and grows, until half (半) of him consists of his nose.

魄 = 白 + 鬼 : Pinocchio (p) is being harassed by a demon (鬼) while he uses observatory's bathroom (o4). The demon almost causes Pinocchio's mortal soul (魄) to depart his body, so Pinocchio waves with his white flag (白) as hard as he can to beg for mercy.

帕 = 巾 + 白 : Pinocchio (p) caught a severe cold. In the ashram's bathroom (a4) he prepares a lot of handkerchiefs (帕) by cutting down towels (巾) and white flags (白) into appropriately sized pieces.

迫 = 白 + 辶 : Pinocchio (p) is hiding in the observatory's bathroom (o4), but his persecutors are about to break in. Pinocchio blocked the door with a heap of gladiator sandals (辶), but they are about to break through. He is forced (迫) to wave his white flag (白) and give up.
