淒寒

凄 = 冫 + 妻 : The wife (妻) of the Queen of Hearts (qi) is living a grim (凄) and bleak (凄) life in front of the space station (Ø1). To cheer her a little bit up the Queen of Hearts gives her a popsicle (冫).

寒 = 宀 + 井 + 一 + 八 + ⺀ : After the nuclear war the nuclear winter (寒) followed, and now the well (井) in the anthill's kitchen (an2) is frozen (寒). Hamlet (h) first puts a graduation cap (宀) over the well to protect it from radioactive fallout, then he breaks the ice by throwing a big eightball (八) into the well. Finally he is able to suck up some fresh water using a flute (一), although he discovers that under the ice beautiful blossoms (⺀) have grown.
