监 = 刂 + 大 + 皿 : Joan of Arc (ji) has been caught by the English and in her prison (监), a cage (监) in front of the anthill (an1), She awaits her trial. 检 = 佥 + 木 : Joan of Arc (ji) and General 傅佥 (佥) are spending Christmas Eve inside of the anthill (an3). Next to them there is a Christmas tree (木) at the bar. Joan of Arc and the general again and again check (检) and investigate (检) the tree whether there are already some presents under it.

验 = 佥 + 马 : Maud Younger (y) took a pregnancy test (验) In anthill's bathroom (an4) and she's pregnant indeed, she just doesn't know if the father is 傅佥 (佥) or the unicorn (马). She called both to come over and plans to do a test series (验) to see who would be the better father.

疫 = 殳 + 疒 : Maud Younger (y) was supposed to fight an epidemic (疫) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4), but all she got was a halberd (殳). Very soon she got a colorful rash (疒) herself, but she still stands guard in the bathroom and forces everyone to wash their hands regularly.

总 = 丷 + 口 + 心 : Mnemonic symbol: to go all in during a poker game.

总 = 丷 + 口 + 心 : Zapatista Zebra and the mean crocodile are playing poker inside of the engine. The crocodile decided to go all in with his mandarin, and Zapatista Zebra has no choice but to set his heart.

局 = 尸 + 乛 + 口 : Zeus (ju) got a job at the post office (局) just inside the space station's entrance (Ø2) and already at his first day a ghost (尸) approaches him. Zeus feels extremely threatened and tries to kill the ghost with a sickle (乛), but the sickle just cuts through the ghost. As the ghost is finally right in front of Zeus it produces a mandarin (口) which it wants sent to earth.
