增 = 土 + 曾 : In front of the engine ((e)ng1) some fireflies (曾) are busy increasing (增) the height of the hill on which engine rests by piling up dirt (土) so that it counts as a mountain. Zorro (z) came to interview them but since they are so tiny they need to use an amplifier (增) so that Zorro can hear what they are saying.

Many (多) and Doggy Dog (du) have great fun chasing a bat (夕) in front of the observatory (o1). After a while there are two bats (多), and it's not so easy to chase them any more. Suddenly there are more and more (多) bats! Now Many and Doggy Dog experience what it is like to be chased for a change.

症 = 正 + 疒 : The stick figure (正) is visiting James II of England (zh) in the engine's bathroom ((e)ng4) to have him investigate his colorful rash (疒). Unfortunately James II of England has to tell him that he has cancer (症).
