橫掃千軍

横 = 木 + 黄 : Hamlet (h) climbed on the beam (横) of the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2) and now he is too afraid to come down again. If the Yellow Emperor (黄) doesn't want to call the fire brigade, for better or worse he'll have to climb the Christmas Tree (木) to pick Hamlet up.

扫 = 彐 + 扌 : Socrates (s) is sweeping the aorta (ao3) using a broom (扫). There are big pig snouts (彐) lying around on the floor which he picks up using a toy claw (扌) because they are too big to sweep (扫).

千 = 丿 + 十 : Mnemonic symbol: a 1 kg weight.

The Queen of Hearts (qi) dropped a kilogram (千) on her banana (丿) in front of the anthill (an1), and now she uses a cross (十) to try and revive it.

军 = 冖 + 车 : As a component in other characters: a general.

Zeus is driving a car in front of the restaurant. It's a cabriolet, so he uses a cooking top to protect himself from the weather. With the cooking top on his head, he looks kinda like a weird general.
