桩 = 木 + 庄 : Julian Giant Squid (zhu) made a pile (桩) of stakes (桩) out of the Christmas trees (木) growing next to the farmstead (庄) in front of the anglepod (ang1) so that he's prepared if any vampires should try to attack him.

件 = 亻 + 牛 : Joan of Arc and Rosa Luxemburg want to use the anthill's bathroom, but there is a bull blocking the way. He posed them a riddle, and as long as they can't deliver the item or component he asked for to fulfill this quest, he won't let them pass.
