昆 = 日 + 比 : Karl Koala's (ku) elder brother (昆) works as entomology man (昆) in his free time. When Karl wants to sun (日) bathe in front of the encampment ((e)n1) wearing a bikini (比), entomology man helps him stay free of ants and other insects by burning then with the sun's (日) light and a magnifying glass.

虫 = 中 + 厶 : Chantal Chicken and a mosquito are taking part in a dart contest just inside the engine's kitchen. The dart board is hanging in the middle of the entrance, and Chantal and the mosquito are standing to the sides. Over each of them a large fake nose is hovering: the loser will be covered in grey goose as punishment.

学 = 小 + 冖 + 子 : Xu Xian wants to study scienceology and learn more about daisies. Just inside the elevator's kitchen, he put some daisies into a prize cup and covered them with a cooking top. He wants to study the growth rate of the daisies depending on the pH of the water in the prize cup.
