踌 = ⻊ + 寿 : Charlie Chaplin (ch) is about to step on a longevity peach bun (寿) in the outhouse's kitchen (ou2) with his cowboy boot (⻊), but he hesitates (踌) in the last moment.

躇 = ⻊ + 著 : Chantal Chicken (chu) is just about to step on important documents (著) with her cowboy boot (⻊) just inside the space station's entrance (Ø2), but in the last moment she hesitates (躇).

不 = 丆 + 卜 : Bruno Bear (bu) is setting up a wind wheel (丆) with a voodoo staff (卜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He also puts a "forbidden" sign (mnemonic symbol for 不) on it, to make clear that it may not (不) be stopped.

前 = 䒑 + 刖 : The Queen of Hearts is smoking some weed just inside the anthill's kitchen. She's so high that she thinks the lamp in front of her is the moon which wants to stab her with a kitchen knife.
