由 = 丨 + 曰 : Mnemonic symbol: 自由古巴， a cuba libre. The character 由 itself even looks like a cuba libre.

Maud Younger (y) is taking part in a charity auction in the outhouse's kitchen (ou2). She is auctioning the dinosaur bone (丨) next to her and is speaking into a microphone (曰). In the other hand she is holding a cuba libre (由), and she is already quite drunk.

俭 = 亻 + 佥 : General Fu Qian (佥) is a very rich and respected general, but he still lives very frugal (俭). To amuse himself he merely visits the anthill's bar (an3) and puts one arm around Joan of Arc (ji) and Rosa Luxemburg (亻) respectively.

入 = 丿 + ㇏ : Mnemonic symbol: a big enter button.

入 = 丿 + ㇏ : Some aliens have disguised themselves as banana and float by the space station's bathroom. Rachel Rhinoceros sees them and because she loves bananas, she presses a big enter button with her finger to let them enter.

奢 = 大 + 者 : Sherlock Holmes (sh) and the Sun King (者) are showing off their luxury (奢) handbags in front of the elevator (e1). They have both handbags made of dead robots (大).

易 = 勿 + 日 : Mnemonic symbol: a really easy puzzle consisting of only two parts.

Maud Younger (y) and the sun (日) are trying to complete a really easy puzzle (易) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). It's not as easy as they thought though, because in zero gravity they can only move with the help of their bat wings (勿).

难 = 又 + 隹 : Mnemonic symbol: a video game which is almost impossible to beat.

难 = 又 + 隹 : Just inside the anthill's kitchen, Napoleon and a sparrow are trying to beat an insanely difficult video game. After playing and failing all day long Napoleon finally loses his temper and crashes the game wearing two boxing gloves.
