筹 = ⺮ + 寿 : Charlie Chaplin (ch) is gambling in the outhouse's kitchen (ou2). He already lost a couple of longevity peach buns (寿), and his debt is engraved on a bamboo stick (⺮) which serves as token for counting (筹). To win his longevity peach buns back he devises a strategy: he plans (筹) to use crowd funding (筹) to make up for his loss.

簇 = ⺮ + 族 : Kitty Cat (cu) has set up bunches (簇) of bamboo sticks (⺮) as framework for silk worms (簇) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). Now she is walking with a lowered head (族) among the bunches to gather bamboo foliage (簇) from the ground and to see how the silk worms are doing.

竿 = ⺮ + 干 : Guy Fawkes (g) wants to enjoy his dried fruit (干) in front of the anthill (an1), but the ants try to enjoy his dried fruit as well. He has to climb to the top of a pole (竿) and fend off the ants with a bamboo stick (⺮) in order to save his dried fruit.

笔 = ⺮ + 毛 : Brunhilde (bi) decided to try art for a change and constructs a brush (笔) in the space station (Ø3). She cuts off her long hair (毛) and attaches it to a bamboo stick (⺮) to make her brush (笔).

笛 = ⺮ + 由 : Dorothy Gale (di) had too many cuba libres (由) in the space station's kitchen (Ø2). She mistakes a bamboo stick (⺮) for a flute (笛) and tries to play a melody on it, even though she doesn't know how to play the flute (笛) at all. She must be really drunk!

第 = ⺮ + 弓 + 丨 + 丿 : Dorothy Gale (di) accomplished an awesome result with her composite bow (弓) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4): She shot a banana (丿) onto a dinosaur bone (丨) so the banana was split in half, and then fired a bamboo stick (⺮) into the banana (丿) so the banana was split in half as well. Dorothy is number one (第) with the bow!

箭 = ⺮ + 前 : Joan of Arc (ji) programmed a new weapon. She uses her super secret lab in the anthill's bathroom (an4) to try it out for the first time. She stuck arrows (箭) into bamboo sticks (⺮) and can fire them remotely using a front panel (前).

筒 = ⺮ + 同 : Tommy Turtle (tu) managed to build a twin (同) cylinder (筒) engine out of bamboo sticks (⺮) inside of the engine ((e)ng3).

笨 = ⺮ + 本 : Beelzebub (b) is very stupid (笨): He wants to get rid of some roots (本) by flushing them through the toilets in the encampment's bathroom ((e)n4), but they get stuck easily and he has to push with a bamboo stick (⺮). It would be much easier to just use the trash can.
