了 = 乛 + 亅 : Sir Lancelot (l) has completed (了) his preparations to fight the world. There he stands ready, on top of the Elevator (e5), with a sickle (乛) and a crowbar (亅) in his hands.

指 = 扌 + 旨 : James II of England (zh) received another imperial decree (旨) In the space station (Ø3). Because his finger (指) nails (指甲) are so long, he has to use a toy claw (扌) to open the letter. In the decree it is written that he shall cut his finger nails because they are the only human objects than can be seen from earth without visual aide.

掌 = 尚 + 手 : Inside the anglepod (ang3), James II of England (zh) and the Buddhist monk (尚) play catch using two baseball gloves (手) and a horseshoe (掌).
