国 = 囗 + 玉 : Mnemonic symbol: a nation's flag. Let's say the Chinese flag.

In the observatory's kitchen (o2) Gitta Giraffe (gu) is practising her ballet performance. She got a whole crate (囗) full of jade bracelets (玉) and flags (国) and fixed one flag to each jade bracelet. In an act of revolution, with a pair of scissors (𠂇) Maud Younger (y) is cutting a paper moon (月) into tiny pieces in the outhouse's living room (ou3). There is (有) only confetti (有) left over.

企 = 人 + 止 : The Queen of Hearts (qi) and Neanderthal Man (人) plan (企) to open a business (企) inside of the space station (Ø3). Their plan is to produce barriers (止) and send them down to earth.

I can't help but see a bullfrog in 业. Maud Younger finds that the climate in the elevator's bathroom are perfect for her new business: growing bullfrogs.
