阐扬

阐 = 门 + 单 : Charlie Chaplin (ch) fell through a trap door (门) when he wanted to leave the bar in the anthill (an3), and inside the snake pit below he finds a long list (单) explaining (阐) that it is his sole responsibility that he fell through the trap door because he got too drunk.

扬 = 𠃓 + 扌 : At the end of the day, Maud Younger (y) hoists (扬) a red lantern to show the visitors of the anglepod that the kitchen (ang2) is closed. Half the way up though the lantern gets stuck, so Maud Younger has to put on her Icarus' wings (𠃓), fly to the lantern and free it using a toy claw (扌).
