三 = 一 + 二 : Mnemonic symbol: Cartesian coordinate system with three (三) axes. Socrates (s-) is performing in front of the anthill (-an1). Brunhilde is a bit embarrassed because all she has to offer in return is a banana (丿). Kublai Khan feels like his heart has been crossed out (the 丿 stroke is crossing out 心 in 必).

有 = 𠂇 + 月 : Mnemonic symbol: confetti.

In an act of revolution, with a pair of scissors (𠂇) Maud Younger (y) is cutting a paper moon (月) into tiny pieces in the outhouse's living room (ou3). There is (有) only confetti (有) left over.

我 = 戈 + 手 : I (我) find Willy Walrus (w) lying motionless in the observatory's living room (o3), and there's a dagger-axe (戈) sticking right in his chest. I (我) try to pull it out while wearing a baseball glove (手).

师 = 刂 + 帀 : Sherlock Holmes' teacher shows Sherlock one final trick in front of the space station before his training is complete. The teacher shows Sherlock how to electrify a kitchen knife using a defibrillator.
