酒 = 氵 + 酉 : The rooster and Maud Younger are downing some baijiu in the outhouse. Maud Younger doesn't notice though that the rooster is hiding a bottle of water behind him and every time when Maud is not looking he replaces his booze with water.

淆 = 氵 + 肴 : Just inside the aorta's kitchen (ao2) Marie Curie (xi) accidentally emptied a bottle of water (氵) over her meat dishes (肴) and now they're all confused and disorderly (淆).

肴 = 乂 + 有 : Maud Younger (y) dropped her meat dishes (肴) into a pile of confetti (有) in the aorta's kitchen (ao2) and now she has to remove the confetti from the meat using a pair of pliers (乂).
