辟穀

辟 = 尸 + 口 + 辛 : Mnemonic symbol from 辟邪, to ward of evil: a jade dragon, because this is what you get if you google image search 辟邪. Pocahontas (pi) stored some delicious kimchi (辛) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4), and a ghost (尸) is trying to eat it all in one gulp. Pocahontas is prepared though and uses a jade dragon (辟) to fend off (辟) the ghost. She does throw a mandarin (口) to the desperate ghost though.

谷 = 人 + 八 + 口 : Mnemonic symbol: popcorn.

谷 = 人 + 八 + 口 : Gitta Giraffe conducts an experiment in the space station. She shows Neanderthal Man three things: a mandarin, popcorn, and an eight-ball, and records how much he likes to eat each of these. Neanderthal Man thinks that the eight ball is a little crunchy.
