贾 = 覀 + 贝 : In the ashram (a3) Joan of Arc (ji) is considering to change her last name to jia3 (贾), but the crab (贝) thinks it's a stupid idea and gives her a whipping with a knuckle duster (覀).

贾 = 覀 + 贝 : Gitta Giraffe (gu) wants to have the merchant's (贾) crab (贝) in the space station, but she doesn't want to pay for it. Instead, she hits the merchant with a knuckle duster (覀) to get the crab for free.

南 = 十 + 冂 + 丷 + 干 : Mnemonic symbol: a palm tree (palms are only found in the south)

南 = 十 + 冂 + 丷 + 干 : Napoleon and the mean crocodile met in the anthill's kitchen to discuss a secret plan. The mean crocodile found a map which leads to a treasure of dried fruits. Napoleon and the mean crocodile agree to follow the map and claim the dried fruits, but each of them has his own secret agenda: Napoleon wants to claim the land and put up his big cross, and the crocodile just wants to relax under a palm tree.

Now they are even not discussing anymore: instead, Don Quixote is ramming a flute (一) into Goethe's heart (心) with a cross (十) which he uses as a hammer. He doesn't want to make a mess though so he collects the blood flowing out of the other end of the flute in a shallow bowl (皿).
