可 = 丁 + 口 : Karl Marx (k) is challenging his abilities (可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He tries to force a nail (丁) into a mandarin (口), just by using his head. On top of that he tries to do so one thousand times, in order to create a bed of nails (mnemonic symbol for 可).

可 = 丁 + 口 : Alternative mnemonic symbol: kebab, from the pronunciation "ke". Karl Marx (k) is preparing a kebab (mnemonic symbol for 可) in the elevator's living room (e3). He also skewers mandarins (口) on the long steel nails (丁) and will only allow (可) his guests to eat the rest of the kebab if they eat their mandarins first.

惜 = 忄 + 昔 : NASA ordered Marie Curie (xi) to do an experiment for them in front of the space station (Ø1). They are spending 2000000000 bucks to see what happens when you crush a milk shake (昔) with a flail (忄) in outer space. Marie Curie thinks it is a pity (惜) and would rather drink her cherished (惜) milk shake rather than crush it.

太 = 丶 + 大 : Mnemonic symbol: from 太后 [tai4 hou4], the empress dowager. The empress dowager prepares for her reign in the airplane's bathroom (ai4) and has a big robot (大) as well as Tecumseh (t) fan her fresh air with petal leaves (丶).

粗 = 且 + 米 : Kitty Cat (cu) wants to store her sacks of rice (米) in a shelf (且) in front of the space station (Ø1), but the sacks are too thick (粗) and do not fit.

了 = 乛 + 亅 : Sir Lancelot (l) has completed (了) his preparations to fight the world. There he stands ready, on top of the Elevator (e5), with a sickle (乛) and a crowbar (亅) in his hands.

了 = 乛 + 亅 : Mnemonic symbol from "to finish" and the shape of the character: a prize cup.

Li Qingzhao (li) is responsible for manufacturing a prize cup (了). She only needs to add a poetic engraving. Unfortunately, she suffers from a writer's block. In the aorta's living room (ao3), someone left a cryptic message engraved on the walls using a sickle (乛), which is still lying on the floor. Being an accomplished poet Li Qingzhao is able to understand the message clearly (了), realizes its poetic potential and starts to engrave it on the prize cup using a crowbar (亅).

Maud Younger (y) forgot her keys to the space station (Ø1), all she brought outside was her flute (一). She has no choice but to crash the door with the giant flute.

点 = 占 + 灬 : Dorothy Gale opened a new shop inside anthill. She's selling grilled vegetables, and many people are ordering them. On a plate, they only look like little spots or points.

细 = 田 + 纟 : Marie Curie inspects her farm in the space station's bathroom. She set up a field where innocent silk worms have to die only for the production of fine and slender silk threads.

就 = 京 + 尤 : Mnemonic symbol: somebody leaving the scene right away using jet packs.

就 = 京 + 尤 : Joan of Arc got a medal for having the most awesome underpants in the outhouse's bathroom. She is embarrassed for just wearing underpants anyway, so she leaves the scene on the spot using jet packs.

好 = 女 + 子 : Hamlet visits the wishing well in the aorta and wishes for a good child. A picosecond later, an egg appears, cracks open and Bessie Coleman jumps out.
