Marie Curie (xi) has the matador (斗) pull her sedan chair (余) through the elevator's kitchen (e2). Since there is no-one at the rear end of the sedan chair, the end just drags over the ground and the sedan chair is very slanted (斜), just like a slanting tower.

Mnemonic symbol: 余车 means "emperor's carriage", and I'll thus represent 余 with a sedan chair. In the space station's kitchen (Ø2), Yu the Great (yu) finally has the chance to feel like an emperor. In zero gravity she doesn't need anyone to carry the sedan chair (余) she's sitting on. She set up two sewage pipes (朩) right opposite of each other, so as soon as she shoots out of one she enters the other and is redirected to the first one. In this way she can ride her sedan chair in an infinite loop. An emperor always wears a headpiece, so she puts on a pointed cap (亼).
