谎 = 荒 + 讠 : Helga Horse (hu) finds that the advertising column (讠) in the anglepod (ang3) is plastered with lies (谎). Not thinking twice Helga destroys all the lies and changes the advertising column to a desolate (荒) pillar.

荒 = 巟 + 艹 : Helga Horse (hu) got rid of a few chemical waste containers (巟) by emptying them over the ground in front of the anglepod (ang1). To cover up the barren ground (荒) she distributes many artificial lawn sheets (艹).
